Objectives of the Wakf Act

Ø   De-politicize the Institution.

Ø   Introduce Accountability & Transparency.

Ø   Institution to reflect the aspirations of the people.

Ø   Institution to function in conformity with Islamic Socio-economic framework.

Emphasis on promotion of education, healthcare, and economic support to widows, orphans and the destitute.
